The pandemic has changed so many things in our lives. But, has it changed the way we look at fashion? If you have picked up a top fashion magazine recently, you may have noticed at least a few changes.
In many ways, fashion has become much more practical. Not all of the “fussy” stuff is gone, but much of it has been toned down a bit. It would seem that ever since working from home became the normal, we are not really looking for clothes that make a statement. Instead we are looking for clothes that help us to stay comfortable.
Can comfortable fashion ever look sexy? Well, post-pandemic fashion does not seem to focus on sexiness so much. One thing that the pandemic has certainly given us is better quality fabrics. Yes, it may be fun to buy a pair of trousers that are going to last a couple of months. But, we are beginning to think about post-pandemic fashion differently.
Not only do we want it to be comfortable, we also want it to be environmentally friendly. That says a lot about the way in which we are emerging from the pandemic. Many of us have found a new love for nature. We want our post-pandemic fashion to be comfort as well as kind to the environment.
As a matter of fact, you can say that the pandemic has turned us into more conscientious fashion consumers and followers than ever before. That is a trend that is set to continue.
All of this really does make you wonder what is next? The post-pandemic world keep throwing surprises our way. It is very hard to second guess what is going to happen next. One thing for sure, is that we are much more aware where and how we spend our hard earned post-pandemic cash.
